Speakers, Programs, and Training Sessions:

    Thursday, January 8, 2004 -- The Meeting was devoted to setting up the Labor Council's work plans for 2004, and working out our new budget.  

    Thursday, February 12, 2004 --     There was a presentation by Billl Peltz from the Labor-Religion Coalition before the business Meeting.

    Thursday, March 11, 2004 --     Kathleen Scales from CDALF talked to us.

    Thursday, April 8, 2004 --     The Teamsters brought the Council up-to-date on the Cement Plant contract negotiations, and the Informational Picketing.

    Thursday, May 13, 2004 at 7:00 PM. --     Co-Chairs were appointed for our Political Action Committee, and plans were finalized for the Picnic and the Voter Registration and guests.  

    Saturday, June 5th
Annual Labor Picnic, Jointly sponsored by the Glens Falls Building and Construction Trades Council, and the Glens Falls and Saratoga Central Labor Councils

    Thursday, June 10, 2004 --
The last Meeting that was held until September.  Plans were made so Political Action and everything else could continue.

    July and August, 2004 --
Usual Summer Recess.

    Thursday, September 9, 2004 --     The Meeting concentrated on the upcoming political season and elections, setting up 'phone banks, and other actions.

    Thursday, October 14th, 2004 --     We were honored to have the two candidates for Glens Falls City Court at our Meeting.     The Elections and our other endorsements were discussed.

    Thursday, November 11th, 2004 --     and Veterans' Day.
    Nominations were made for our biannual Elections to be held in December.   Additional Nominations can be made then.

    Thursday, December 9th, 2004 --

    Nominations were followed by Elections, and a slate of Officers was elected.
    2005 was discussed.
