Speakers, Programs, and Training Sessions:

    Thursday, January 12, 2006 -- The Meeting was held at the South Queensbury Volunteer Fire Station Hall, and CWA Local 1118 President Michael Bain addressed the members and discussed their contract problems with Verizon, and the 'Phone Book Dump planned. The rest of the Meeting was mostly devoted to setting up the Labor Council's work plans for 2006, and working out an interim budget.

    -New location at the CWA Hall..

    Thursday, April 13, 2006 --
    -Held at the CWA Hall-.

    Thursday, May 11, 2006 at 7:00 PM. -- Held at the Plumbers' and Pipefitters' Hall on Bluebird Rd.     Plans were finalized for the Picnic and the Voter Registration.  

    Saturday, June 3rd

    Thursday, June 8, 2006
  --  The Meeting was moved to the CWA Offices on Main St. in So. Glens Falls due to finding the Plumbers' and Pipefitters' Hall unavailable when we arrived for our Meeting. Plans were made for the summer, and for the Fall season.

    Thursday, July 13, 2006 -- The Meeting was held at the CWA Meeting Room in So. Glens Falls.
    Normal business was taken up.

    Thursday, August 10th, 2006 --     The Meeting concentrated on the upcoming political season and elections, and setting up Debates or Forums, and other actions.

    Thursday, September 14, 2006 --     The Meeting was held at the CWA Meeting Room in So. Glens Falls, and continued work on elections, the 'phone banks and Walks, a Forum, and other Labor actions. CDALF selected all of the endorsements for us, so the Candidates' Nights were cancelled.

Thursday, October 5th
The CLC is sponsoring a Public Forum at the Woods Theater. Open to the Public.

    Thursday, October 12th, 2006 --.
Election work was continued, and 'phone banks, and "Labor To Neighbor" walks were set up.  The recent Forum was finalized.

    Thursday, November 9th, 2006 -- .
    The 2007 projects and Budget proposal was discussed and prepared, and Nominations of Officers for 2007.

    Thursday, December 14th, 2006 --
    Annual Holiday Meeting at Carl R's Cafe' at Exit 18. The Elections of Officers for 2007 were held during the business portion.
